‘O you who believe! Spend of that which We have provided for you Before a Day arrives when there will be no bargaining, nor friendship, nor intercession...’ (Glorious Qur’ãn, 2:254)
The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wasallam narrated:
‘When a person passes-away, the rewards of his deeds also finish. However, there are three such actions the reward of which accrue even after death:
- Sadaqah-e-Jãriyah (Financial contributions which benefit others).
- (Imparting) such Knowledge (of Islãm) from which people benefit.
- (Leaving behind) pious children who pray for him after his death.’
